Everyone always asks me "Where can we take our pictures?"
Here are some locations that I love to have my sessions.
Jerusalem Mill Village - Kingsville, MD
This is my #1 location to take pictures. They have it all including a big red barn, weathered wood stage, stone walls, river, covered bridge, trails, small red bridge, fields, and big trees. You can get such a great variety at this location. It offers nice shady area if the sun is too bright, which is a must for outdoor photo's.
Gunpowder State Park - Middle River, MD
I love the beach look, and if you do as well then this is the perfect spot for you as well. This location offers the sand and the water, several piers, grass fields, driftwood, nice rocks, red fences, and several trails. I only shoot at this location at sunset unless its a cloudy day. The sun is so bright during the day and there isn't much shade at this location.
Your Home
I have a portable studio that I can bring to your home. I have several backdrops and props that I can bring along as well. My newborn sessions are always done at my clients home. I feel you shouldn't have to bring your little one outside when they are so little. There are a few requirements for some of my backdrops. You must have a 7 x 5 foot space near a big window on a flat surface. If its nice weather we can always set up outside as well. Some of my backdrops can not be placed on carpet. Indoor home sessions are best when you have 1 or 2 children. Outdoor session at your home are best if you have a nice backyard or a forest near by.
Cromwell Valley Park
This location is great as well. Old stone walls, fields, nice tress, and open shade. This location has a good variety just like Jerusalem Mill. If you family prefers the open field, then pictures must be done early in the morning, or at sunset.
Boordy Vineyards
This location is great for engagement sessions. You do have to get permission prior to going there. Since the vineyard itself does not have open shade, these pictures must be done early in the morning or at sunset. This location has a nice stone, big trees, wine barrels, the vineyard ofcourse!

My Home
I have lots of bright sunlight and lots of room in my home which is perfect for indoor sessions. I also live down the street from a beach if you want a few pictures taken there as well. I also have more choices as far as props and backdrops since I can't bring them all with me when I travel. That would be one packed car!
